Koorana Crocodile Farm was established in 1981 as Queensland's first commercial crocodile farm. Owners John and Lillian Lever have work hard to bring this farm from 3-4 crocodiles in the early eighties to a normal carrying capacity of 3000 today.
We have a fully licensed restaurant that can cater for functions up to 100 people and also run two tours everyday (excluding Christmas day).
Koorana Crocodile Farm produces the highest quality crocodile leather products, including, handbags, hats, diaries, wallets, purses, card wallets, and belts.
Koorana does not receive any crocodiles from the wild at all and fulfils the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) and CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) criteria for a self contained breeding farm.
Koorana is an approved farm, operating under the Australian Government's strategic conservation program. Koorana is breeding and using F2 generation captive bred crocodiles.
